Job opportunity: communications manager

Good Politics specializes in communications and lobbying, with offices in Kyiv and Toronto. Since 2021, we’ve been helping businesses, nonprofits, and government organizations implement PR & GR strategies that combine a deep understanding of the social context with a creative approach.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage client relations throughout all stages of project delivery

  • Coordinate team workflows, contractors, and processes; maintain documentation and reporting

  • Develop and implement communication strategies

  • Create monthly content plans

  • Build relationships with media and organize special projects

  • Write, edit, and pitch materials (op-eds, comments, interviews)

Requirements:

  • Degree in social or political sciences

  • At least 2 years of experience in communications, PR, marketing, or media

  • Proven experience in strategy and content plan implementation

  • Understanding of communication performance metrics

  • Ability to generate, justify, and execute creative ideas

  • English level B2 or higher

  • Experience working with online documents, spreadsheets, and presentations

  • Ability to draft briefs and manage subcontractors

  • Confident user of ChatGPT and other AI tools

  • Strong self-organization and time management skills

  • Team-oriented mindset, positive attitude, and strong work ethic
